After beating Dricus Du Plessis for the UFC Middleweight title in dominating fashion at UFC 319, the Chechen-born fighter left fans wondering who could possibly stop this unstoppable force/immovable object. While there are many viable contenders such as: Nassourdine Imavov, Caio Borralho, Renier De Ridder, etc., I find many people are not seeing the answer right in front of them. It’s been about 3 years since this callout I believe, and Chimaev has still yet to respond leaving many to speculate that he could’ve possibly been evading this Middleweight contender while he was still on the UFC roster. There may even be a conspiracy behind Maximov’s removal from the UFC roster potentially to protect the stardom of Chimaev? Only time will tell…
